Air pocket inside the headliner - Blowfish

Recommended Posts

Sometime ago someone was having the same problem like I did yesterday during leisurely drive with round headlights BMW members on a nice HOT Florida summer . The air pocket or blowfish somehow got into the headliner while driving. The air got inside pushing the headliner down nearly pressing against my head. As I pushed the headliner up the air dissipate, but comes right back once released.

Both front and rear gaskets were replaced with OE and the fitting is perfect. The forum did indicate that there is an escape channel at the rear of the window, but can not seem to find it.

Can someone help in identifying this problem?

thanks.

...remove the duct tape from the rear trunk air exiting oval openings -

port holes (they have plastic blanking plugs if Sun Roof equipt'd)

for non-Sun Roof cars those dusts should be open
