Is this correct for a de-smogged car?

I wouldn't have removed the vapor recovery stuff from the diagram but the PO tossed the ?fuel vapor recovery valve?

Is this a bare minimal setup then?

yes...don't forget the tank vent.

I use the steel line for gas feed (under driver's side) and the old fuel feed line (plastic inside pax side) for the vent. It still opens into engine compartment....hope it never blows up (jk)

Install a european type vent which routes the vapors out the rear beneath the car. You have a hole that is rubber plugged. It is a simple matter to install.
