another E21 question

Sorry to crash the 02 board with anothre E21 question but....

I know a lot of you guys have E21's so i figured i would ask here. I tried the search feature, but to no avail.

My E21 is leaking from the clutch master cylinder into the cabin. Now.... how much luck have you guys had rebuilding these master cylinders? how many failures have you seen? they are slightly different from the 02 clutch master cylinders, so anyone with a beater E21 know? Big mess on the floor and carpet. everything seems to be working fine though. so im confused, just massive fluid loss into the cabin, obviously coming from the clutch master cylinder. just running down under the pedal! yikes. I might go grab one from the junk yard for the time being. maybe rebuild the one i have. kits are $20 from kragen. your thoughtS?

My suggestion would be to buy a new one! The difference is only about $20 bucks and you don't have to worry about it.

ok. if i can find a store in town that has one. but they are $79 from autozone. probably a rebuilt one anyways. Thanks guys. I love this site.
