How much more reliable are the '76s?

This is a bit pointless given that ALL '02s are by now over 30 years old, but are the '76s significantly easier to maintain and keep running than earlier models? Conventional wisdom from almost any 2002 FAQ (including the one from this site) seems to imply that they are, but is that really the case? In what ways are earlier models more temperamental than the '76s?

Cheers!

IMO no major difference, especially since so many cars are modified over the years. The earliest cars 68-69ish had a few differences that are harder to find replacement parts for. This assumes that you are not keeping the emissions system operable. If you are in a smog state/county that requires OEM emissions, it is best to stay away from 75-76.
