Brake Booster Check Valve Replacement: Do it!

Are you saying I should replace mine even if my booster is working fine?

Well, I thought mine was working well also. $15 is not a big gamble.

Try this: Remove the valve and try to blow through it. You should be able to smoothly blow one way through the valve and not at all the other way. Mine was working, but it took some pressure to get air through it.

Even if you don't see a difference, it's only $15.

My 1975 carburated 2002 has no valve on the hose. The part seems to be NLA, so what is a good source for one?

WOW...that's hard to understand that it's missing. You're going to think you have power brakes when you get that fixed.
