Brake Booster Check Valve Replacement: Do it!

I just replaced the check valve between the brake booster and intake. It seems that the original one was still on the car. Instantly I saw a difference in brake modulation and power assistance. Only $15....worth it!

Well, I thought mine was working well also. $15 is not a big gamble.

Try this: Remove the valve and try to blow through it. You should be able to smoothly blow one way through the valve and not at all the other way. Mine was working, but it took some pressure to get air through it.

Even if you don't see a difference, it's only $15.

WOW...that's hard to understand that it's missing. You're going to think you have power brakes when you get that fixed.
