C.D. ? Does any one know of a wiring diagram for an E28 active check control unit which feeds an "OverHeat" light? (the active check unit is above the rear view mirror.

There is no reference to it in the Bentley E28 manual.

The overheat light mounted on the control unit will not go out, although the car is cold.

Any Thots?

Thanks

Kevin

The check control light does not indicate an overheat condition, but rather only that the coolant level is low. Make sure your reservoir is filled to the mark and if so, the coolant level sensor, right there in the reservoir, has failed. It's a common failure and an inexpensive repair.
