Mechanic in Los Angeles

Hey Guys and Gals,

I just moved to LA. I am looking for a reputable BMW mechanic. Particularly for my 1988 528e. I saw the listing for Jack Fahuna. Are there other names that would be recommended?

There is a shop on the corner of Colorado and Eagle Rock Blvd in Eagle Rock. They only work on BMWs and Minis. There is mechanic who works in the back named Mike Brown. He got my 02 running great, but he also works on other BMW cars. I think the shop is called the M store. But Im not sure. Others will chime in with the correct name Im sure. Good luck

I have not heard from Mike Brown in awhile, but I would highly suggest him, great guy, and can work on 02's blindfolded. I think you said yours is an 88, this may be a little too new. But give M-Shop a call.

Also, there is a excellent Mechanic in Silverlake, I think its on Glendale Blvd, Westside of the street accross from the shopping center.

DON'T go to Vinko @ European Motors in Silverlake if you need your carbuerator worked on. My 76 2002 has been back and forth to his shop 3 times in the two months and he still can't get it right!
