rear springs

It lowered my 76 probably 3/4 inch (it's been a while since I did it). I couldn't and still can't afford H+R's like I want, but this works as a cheap option. It will sort of tear up the rubber spring pads as the springs are not "flat" on the bottom after you hack. Eventually I'll get some real springs, and I'll get new pads when I do.

I was a poor college boy...........and cut mine with a dremel and 2-3 cut-off wheels per spring. It wasn't nearly as bad as one would think.

Definitely glad I lowered though.

Done it to my last 3 02s, I just did it last weekend. 1/2coil is not that much, you will need at least one coil to get about an 1" drop depending on the condition of the springs.

I use my dremmel with a fiberglass reinforced wheels. Also you will need to go at least 1 1/2 coils up front to get the same effect.
