Proper Kugelfischer for a '72 tii?

Would someone please confirm what the proper Kugelfischer serial would be for a '72 tii seen on the triangular metal side plate (outside of pump housing). Thanks.

Contrary to popular opinion, there are indeed 2 variations of the Kugelfischer. One has the V7 fuel control cone, and the '74 US tii used a pump with the V6 fuel control cone.

Basically, the fuel curves are different on each. People often interchange them claiming there is no difference but, I always recommend using the right one for optimum performance given that your car's intake system is based around the right pump.

The later models (74) had the PL 4. The early models had the B1. If you have a 72tii, you should have the B1.

Just to clarify, they are all PL 0 "x" pumps but the tag on most Kugel's of your era are clearly labeled with a B1 which tells you it is the earlier (non PL4) type pump.
