I HAVE DUAL 40 WEBER'S W/ A 288 DEGREE CAM. IT WOULD SEEM THAT THE 3 AND 4 CYLANDERS ARENT FIREING. THIS IS ONLY AT IDLE. THERE IS A SPARK. IM WONDERING IF IT COULD BE AN IDLE JET ON THE CARB. ANY THOUGHT WOULD BE GREAT. THANKS.

CHECK:

compression - FIRST

valve adjustment (COLD 0.006")

correct firing order of spark plug wires

rear carb - float, idle jets, carb mounting loose/leaking?

brake booster vacuum hose connected to rear manifold? loose/leaking?

Sounds like a float problem

Also...

Be sure the piston/plungers in the cold start mechanisms are in the proper position. Are the plugs fouling?
