^ i did use a bearing puller on the cap over the spring since it was wedged in place. Took some heat as well for it to break it free.  There is a circlip that is a complete pain but 2 picks, screwdrivers and an hour of time and it finally popped loose. Everything else just slides off the shaft. Not difficult, just time consuming.
