WRKO
Hello -- I am slowly starting to work through my suspension, starting with identifications. The only visible part number on my rear shocks is 2503b46 0803h1. Does anyone know if these are HD or sports? thanks WRKO
2002iii
The closest I could find is this: Bilstein HD (B6)= Old#(F4-B46-0803-H2), New# (24-008037) B6 121/57 Parameter. So it appears to be the softer HD/B6.

WRKO
I found a couple of older posts on part numbers, 1 I started on related to the same question for e28s. The second with the information in the second quote. Of course, this is a bit of a guess, but what I see common in the numbers are B46 and an H number. B46 seems to be common to those described as rear. For the rears, I see H2 seems to be HD and H1 seems to be Sport. "I found a data sheet for Bilstein Shocks dated July 1977. For the e28, the listing is: Front: Street Setting P36-228. Sport Setting P36-226. Rear: Street Setting B46-800. Sport Setting B46-801. Perhaps the full part number will help with the cross reference for the new "Performance" parts. John" "Bilstein HD (B6)= Old# (F4-P30-0023-H0) New#(34-000236) 163/76 Parameter Bilstein HD (B6)= Old#(F4-B46-0803-H2), New# (24-008037) B6 121/57 Parameter Bilstein Sport front (B8) = Old#(F4-P30-0025-H0) New#(34-000250) 200/85 Parameter Bilstein Sport rear (B8) = Old# (F4-B46-0118-H1), New# (24-001182) 200/60 Parameter" - 02ManyBimmers
