yup.  turner and pelican are part of the evil ECS empire.  easy to tell as all the spam they send is identical across all three.

 

BW remains independent and awesome to work with.

I still shop Turner.

 

I don’t hold a grudge - yeah they gobbled up a few former fave Bimmer parts vendors (Bavauto, Turner, Pelican etc - two who were looking to sell). And they’ve curtailed competition in pricing for many aftermarket brands. But they seem to be investing strongly. Their parts/suppliers lineup now is better/broader than anyone ever used to have. They don’t always have the best prices, but on some things they’re competitive. I probably shop there 3-4x/year. If it’s consumable/replacement parts or products, I shop FCP for the crazy warranty.

 

I also find Turners new customer service much superior to the old days too, and their site/selection seems different than ECS site - at least to me (tho common parts are same $ across all their properties). I appreciate they still carry/ stock Bavauto stuff too ( just picked up some code 303 paint pens for the 02).

 

For BMW & M parts for the 4 series, I mainly shop through Brit at bmwpartspros. Got all my M Perf stuff from them. No one’s lower and service is great…
