WTB passenger side mirror

Just as a reference, the original mirrors on April 1971 through 1974 model year ‘02’s were trapezoid style (a.k.a., “trap mirrors”). But the majority of ‘02’s today wear larger, rectangular mirrors (a.k.a., “flag mirrors”).

If you’re trying to match a left trap mirror, than you’re probably looking for a right trap mirror. But if you’re trying to match a left flag mirror, then you’re probably looking for a right flag mirror.

Below, the first photo shows a trap mirror and the second photo shows a flag mirror. From the factory, all ‘02’s came with a single outside rearview mirror, on the driver’s side. Passenger side mirrors were a dealer-installed accessory. Even by ‘76, when I had the dealer install a passenger-side mirror on my new ‘02, ‘02’s with dual outside mirrors were quite rare. The third photo, taken in April 1977, by a friend who was professional photographer, shows off my ‘76’s rare symmetricality!

Regards,

Steve
