Here are parts from my long collecting from multiple parts cars. It is time to pass along the parts that I don’t need to finish my 1600-2 restoration. Even more coming soon…

The photos show the specific parts being offered. Each item is numbered (carrying forward from my previous listing). Some have been “restored” by cleaning or media blasting, priming, and painting (Rustoleum professional products), with guaranteed no rust underneath. A few items have been powder coated in semi-gloss black. Some are as-found. All have been inspected to ensure that there is no functional rust.

All are sold AS-IS - I will do my best to describe and show condition. I have done my best to research what I believe are the correct part numbers, but the parts catalog is somewhat murky on the little items. Please do your own research…

15 Pair of Aftermarket Heavy Duty Springs- $ 50 SOLD
These are heavy duty springs, not for your great aunt's street car. Manufacturer unknown. Tested at 250 Lbs per inch, they are 9 3/4" long in the relaxed state (shorter than factory). They are the standard ~ 5" outer diameter with .602" wire diameter (heavy duty). One end is nicely ground flat.

16. Pair of Bumper Overriders- $ 50 BMW P/N 51121816417 / 51121816418 SOLD
These are for later chrome bumper cars with the trim strip. I've just cleaned them to see if I could find any rust on the outside (none found). The inside has surface rust. The rubber bumpers look OK, but one of the attaching bolts is missing from each, so they really should be replaced. I'd rate these good for a driver car, terrible for a show winning car.

17. Left Headlight Bucket 1976- $ 60
This is a headlight bucket assembly with bulb (untested, can be removed for the buyer on request) from a '76 2002. It looks intact but needs restoration. The right side of the car was damaged in a minor accident and is not available, sorry.

NEW and unused with nuts.

19. Left and Right Grilles for Square Tail Car- $ 100 for the pair BMW P/N 51131826593 and 51131826594
These are a good driver grade pair of grilles with minor defects, as highlighted with red circles in two of the photos. I didn't see any other damage except little marks, but they are sold as-is.

~~20 Golde Sunroof Handle- $ 25 SOLD~~

~~This handle is in good functional condition but has some pitting on the mount. As-found, looks better in person than in photos.~~

21. "AUTOMATIC" badge for rear of car- $20
Good driver grade logo with all three mounting pins intact

22. "2002" badge for rear of car- $ 10 SOLD
Adequate driver grade logo with NO pins. It was previously mounted with adhesive tape

23. Bosch Rear Fog Light- $ 10 SOLD
This fog light was mounted directly under a chrome rear bumper on an early car. The lens is in fine shape, the chrome bezel and housing have no serious rusting outside but the housing has surface rust inside. The bezel screws have been replaced. The bulb is present and working but will not be guaranteed due to it's age. It has no mounting bracket. The lens has a slight trapezoid shape, wider at the top. Overall dimensions are 6 3/4" wide x 3 3/8" high x 3 1/4" deep.

24. E3 or E9 Center Grille- $ 120 SOLD
This is an E3/E9 center grille (10 slats) in good survivor condition. It has 4 mounting studs and measures a total width of 8 1/2" and total height of 11 1/4" (measured from the back at the extreme edges of the outer frame). There are numerous small defects as shown in the photos. With time and persistance, hand refurbishing could make this beautiful. Online references call this P/N 51131826809.

25. Square tail center grille- $ 60 BMW P/N 51131826675
This grille is in good "driver" condition. The mounting pins are intact and there is no broken plastic. There are small defects in the aluminum frame which could be smoothed, cleaned, and polished if desired by the new owner.

26. Battery Tray - $ 50 BMW P/N 41111831275 SOLD
This is a used bolt-in battery tray which has been media blasted to remove all rust and then powder coated in semigloss black.

27. Rear Brake Backing Plates- $ 150 for the pair BMW P/N 34211117059 and 34211117060
This is a pair E21 of rear brake backing plates which have been media blasted to remove all rust and then powder coated in semigloss black. These have a diameter of 275 mm outside edge to outside edge, used for the 250mm diameter drums in the "big brake" conversion.

28. Flag Mirror, Driver Side- $ 35 SOLD
this is a very good condition driver side flag mirror. No cracked glass, No rust, one tiny ding in the cover (too small to photograph). No mounting hardware is included, sorry.
