WTB Rubber Fuel Filler Neck

Looking for a non-cracked, good condition rubber fuel filler neck for my 76 as mine has a crack in it.

 

Willing to pay for shipping!

Make sure any used one you get doesn't have micro-cracks on the UNDERSIDE. 90% of them do, and if you stretch the thing slightly with your fingers, you'll see them. This caused all the vapor smell in my tii, even though the rest of the filler neck looked nearly new!

 

if you strike out on used ones, I can get them for $79.00 (which is real money, but they last 20+ years.)

for once, the oem parts are actually superior. We had two 02s in a row with fuel smell, both with new Walloth/nesch boots. we found microcracks when flexed and being in a time bind, ordered two from the dealer. No such cracking, and odor gone!

"For once"? Heck! I get 20 years out of a factory BMW exhaust, 300,000 miles out of a transmission, 100,000+ miles out of rubber suspension bushings, etc... there's loads of factory stuff that was and is still good.... just not sheet metal or tii injector lines!

 

And I'd be surprised if W&N is selling aftermarket filler necks... I didn't think anyone was making those besides BMW! Hrmmm... very interesting!
