Pedal cover question

Stupid question but I like this black pedal cover set I found, but wonder how they attach

Appears for brake/clutch you need to drill holes in existing pedal face

And for gas pedal do the “wood screws” just screw into the hard rubber of the pedal

Anyone with pedal cover replacement experience?

FYI: the gas pedal has metal underneath the rubber. It’s best to remove it when drilling the holes. Makes the job easier.

But for all the work to add a cover to the gas pedal, I’d rather replace it with the Ireland Engineering one.
