I know the tunnels are compatible... im wondering about the hole where the shift linkage comes through to the passenger compartment.

My fault, sorry.

the shape of the tunnel is perfect. You dont have to pound out an area for the slave cylinder. You will have to shorten the shift linkage just like you would with a 4 speed tunnel. But the shape of the auto tunnel prevents the use of the 5 speed rail method mentioned on this site. The rails would rest up against the tunnel and have no room to flex.

If you have wide feet like I do, the extra width in the tunnel makes it kinda cramped between the gas and brake pedal but you can make it work with size 12 e's for sure
