2002 ac

Hello,

I am looking for an original or period correct 2002 air conditioning setup...preferably ready to install with all the components, panels, etc.  I have a 1974 2002, please let me know what you have if possible.

I had my car restored at Korman 

mans they installed a a/c that looks correct and works

The old ones don't work very well there's a under dash up to date unit available though.

The unit used by Korman is the updated Clardy made by I.C.E AC. It's was about $1800 last time I checked and it's all hard plastic.

As far as stock appearance goes I think the BEHR system is hard to beat. If you can find a good working evaporator with complete center console add a new dryer, a good size modern parallel flow condenser, fan and Sanden compressor it will cool pretty well. It won't be the same as a modern car because all of the 2002 systems blow only from the center console.
