This was the first race for my recently redone 1800 Ti/SA. I started the race with the seat too far forward which made heel-and-toeing and shifting difficult. It had been moved forward during the Endure race by my co-driver. I was able to move it back going down the back straight, and then I could run down Steve Smith in his quick VW.
