quick fix for exhaust stud leaks?

we found that it's only ONE of the exhaust studs in my engine compartment that is leaking. do we have to remove ALL of them just to clean/replace that one single stud?

or can we just remove that single stud, clean everything out, and then replace the one leaking stud?

that you can take out a single bolt and leave the rest. What I did was take all of them out, and put on a drop of Locktite blue (one drop only) on the thread and put them back on. Knowing that it might leak some other time, I went on to do it once and for all.
