I am preparing to list my 2000 touring on EBay on Sunday but I thought I would first advertise it to the Faq community. This is a 1973 2000 Touring, never sold in the United States. My price will be $10,000 on eBay. I am happy to arrange shipping or deliver in the North West at buyers expense. The touring is license and titled in Oregon, buyer should have no problem registering, titling and passing smog in any state.

We imported this car from Germany in April and have been replacing parts and performing defered maintenance on it since that time. The coolant, brake fluid, oil, trans and rear diff fluid have all been replaced. Air, fuel and oil filters are new and a basic tuneup has been performed. We also installed a set of Eibach springs and new spring pads on the front end.

All lights and electrical systems (aside from wipers) are in good working order. The blower motor and heater box are fully operational, as is the rear window defroster and horn.

The transmission now shifts smoothly up through the gears, only shows grinding on a hard downshift. After resetting the timing and replacing the carburetor with a good used unit the car fires right up every time. The wheels are 13" 100+, tires are allseason Michelin with very good tread.

The car obviously has body rust but overall is a very solid vehicle. There is no rust in the rocker panels, shock towers, frame rails, or any other structural parts of the body.

I have put approxomately 500 miles on this car since import, it has not left me stranded once. I will be driving it up to the NW Historics in Kent, Washington tomorrow and am willing to show it at the races if anybody wants to look it over.
