Look at the engine picture.

looks like it has a speedo cable hooked to it.

Could it possibly be a crude cruise control?

Also, the summer/winter box seems to have a plug wire separator hanging off it.

What's up with that stuff?

REACTOR SERVICE LIGHT . THEY ALSO HAD A TWO PIECE SPEEDOMETER CABLE . MANY OF THESE HAVE BEEN REPLACED

WITH ONE PIECE CABLES SINCE THAT WHOLE 2 PART BOX THING WAS A LOT MORE EXPENSIVE AND REALLY DOES NOTHING .

The service reactor box on the 75's are smaller, black, and mounted under the brake booster/ above the pedal box. I don't know what the box on the right wing is. That's about where the coil is mounted on my 75

but every summerbox I've seen has had a wire separator

on it and I have no idea why.

Heck, I thought Colorado was about the coolest thing going when I was a teenager, and I've seen a lot worse colors than Golf around school parking lots...

That looks like the same thing I have on my '75 K5 Blazer. It was a dealer add on cruise control. It still works pretty well.
