The insides of the wheel well and the trunk look like they are supposed to.

Sealed and painted.

 

Agree, I know that the quarter panels were not removed in '08.

The car was placed on a frame machine and straightened as needed.

The body man said it was one of the straightest cars he had EVER worked on.

 

Also agree that there is still a load on the quarter panel coming from somewhere.

The shop is going to use a borescope to check for buckling from the inside of the trunk over the wheel  arch.
