engine and drivetrain M20 relay question

Ok, so I am playing the start-the-m20 game.

The engine harness has sockets for some relays (I am guessing). The sockets are white or grey and it looks like they probably hold two or three relays or something. Do I need them?

I'm going to try starting the car again tomorrow. I didn't have the crankshaft position sensor hooked up and that is apparently a critical part. The starter motor does work though, so I can crank the car... which means that I didn't screw up the timing belt replacement too much. Yay.

Yes you need the relays but only two, they should be the main relay and one other. The other third one is the oxygen sensor heating which isnt critical. I can get pics or write it down tomorrow if needed.
