obscure Porsche 993 suspension-related question.

Been doing some research lately and was wondering something. the previous generation 911 to the current one, the 993, had a peculiar advanced rear suspension that allowed the wheel under the most stress to give way to up to four degrees of negative camber to improve rear-end grip of a naturally ass-heavy rear-engine car. I'm told this was a really remarkably simple design and has sort of been copied a few times since. I forget the name of it, it's something wierd like 'thick-thin-thinner-axle' or something like that...I'm sure one or three of you guys knows it. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone has designed or offered a version similar to this for an after-market application.

Any information would be helpful. thanks.
