Shortening Rear Bumper On 1974 Bmw 2002??

I searched on the forum with no luck on where someone might have a conversion for the rear bumper to make it shorter.  I know Top End sells a kit for the front but was wondering if there is one for the rear as well.

Any thoughts on what some of you might be doing for that?

there are dozens of threads on the conversion to short bumpers....here is but one...found with a search on " bumper conversion"....

http://www.bmw2002faq.com/topic/138632-problems-with-rear-bumper-conversion-bracket/?hl=bumper+conversion#entry5277

and i detailed the conversion using anton's brackets in my build thread.

there are also many threads on compressing the big bumpers.  same procedure as the front.  just compress the shocks.   just my opinion, but shortening big bumpers is pointless.  deletes the crash resistance of the shocks, does not make them any lighter, and looks funny.....
