First comes the motor...

I had my motor built a few years ago to get a jump on things. Today it roared to life on the dyno.

JE pistons 10:1

Weber 45's

Electromotive XDI crank fire ignition

She put down 170hp with 32deg advance at 7K

The plan is to install all the mechanicals, get them fitted and tuned, then pull the car apart for paint.

I have had this car since 1989

That's kinda weird y0ur engine has a dist. And carbs but y0u have 60_1 trigger wheel 0n the crank.

That is just sitting in there to keep oil from spraying out. I am building a block off plug for it.

Looks like a solid motor, sometimes i wish i would have just built my M10 instead of a swap. duel side drafts are so rad.

170bhp! That is awesome! Can you post a dyno chart for that monster, I would love to see the curve.

 

I think that would be a ripper of an engine!
