wow you guys are awesome. i really thought that was going to get brushed off as some noob question. im still up in the air about what im going to get but 02's are just so cool. im thinking about a first gen bronco the 02 or a bav. its nice to know i can come here and ask stupid questions that i couldnt figure out by myself and get honest answers. thanks guys.

I had a 68' Bronco a few years back - definitely fun to putz around town in, errands to Lowes & In N Out, but was horrible to drive on the freeway. Lifted, with worn suspension, and narrow wheelbase... my hands were moving back and forth, back and forth, like they do whenever there's an in-car-driving-shot in an old movie. It didn't make for a good time on cruddy LA freeways where going slow meant asking for a death sentence.

An 02' might open more doors for spirited driving/longer trips. :-)
