WTT Feeler...My E30 318iS for your 2002.

Recommended Posts

Taking interest in trading my E30 for a 2002.

Quick facts:

Fully rebuilt M42 from the block. Decked, valve job, the works. Over 13k into this car in receipts. Paint needs to be re-cut and polished. It's single stage Brilliant Red so it'll shine up real good. Lowered, wheels, etc. Almost perfect interior. Just some misc. little things to do throughout. Nothing major what so ever. I've been DD'ing it with absolutely no problems. ICE cold A/C.

Any other questions just ask.

What I'm looking for:

I'm primarily looking for a roundie, but just throw me what you got.

Colors don't really matter, so show me what you got.

Must be 4/5-speed.

A $13k e30 is not ''worth''anything close to what a $13k 2002 is ''worth.'' That'd be like trading a 19 year-old virgin bride for a 79 year-old virgin nun, no offense to the Catholics. Apples and oranges...

and a guy who has a $13k 2002 knows he coulda had a nice e30 for 3 grand all day. All these kinda ''feeler'' ads are just useless anyway: sell your freaking car and buy an 02 and end this saga.

Name witheld at request of poster.

Woah woah woah! That's not what I said at ALL! All I said was I've put that much into it. Never did I say I wanted 13k for it. I was just seeing if anyone out there might want to trade a 2002 for my well kept E30. I understand I can just sell my car, but I want to gauge any trades that might be out there first.

$13K in receipts does not mean he is looking to get $13K for it. You would be hard pressed to find a $13K E30 unless it's an M3. But htere are nice E30s for $6-8K and worth every penny. E30s are going up in price.

And if a feeler ad is useless for some, it does not make it useless for everyone. Be different. Allow others to be different. If you like the car but don't have something to trade, make an offer. If you have a car to sell but don't want the E30, offer it. If you're not interested at all, then move on and ignore the saga.

PS: Why withhold your name?

I also happen to own a 91 brilliant rot E30 318is. (Tan interior) Granted, it's not as nice as yours but it's one of my favorites.

i think this is good looking piece, anyone whos owned 02's e-30's e-36's knows that the e-30 cars were amazing, this car looks like its well worth, between $5-$6k....and would make a nice trade.imo...nc
