Wanted: decent 4 speed in SF Bay, CA

title says it all - I'm looking for a decent four speed in the SF Bay, send me price and location. A little bit of grinding is okay, but something without howling bearings.

Well my current trans sounds like it's crushing rocks (not in a good way like an old muncie), so I think it's time to throw another one in, and I don't have the time or space to do a 5 speed conversion right now...

Cameron, I just did the 5spd swap last weekend. The 4spd shifted perfectly w/no grinding. It's even loaded with Redline. I don't really know what they're worth. Is $150 fair? I'm in alameda and can meet ya wherever is convenient.

Find a 320i 4 speed!!!!!!! I have one in my 02 and its great. Slave cylinder is MUCH cheaper and all the kinks got worked out. Good luck!
