I'm thinking about taking a drive up to take a look. I'm a bit worried that the 6v to 12v conversion "still needs some work", but the price seem decent.

i know its been for sale for a long time. at the price its at, its probably worth the drive.

Well, I went and looked at the car yesterday. It looked pretty good and I gave the seller a deposit. It's really complete with just a few rust areas. The underside, shock towers and rockers looked fantastic.

Now I just need to figure out how to get it back to Geneva with all the spares.

Anybody in the Chicago area willing to lend a hand??

Nice going, Mike. I've been thinking about this car for a while, but really just don't have funds, room or time for yet another old car project, even though this looked like a vary interesting one.

If only I hadn't bought that piano last week.....

It's a pretty cool little car, lots of character. I plan on sorting it out mechanically and just driving the thing.

Could you take a close up picture of that little gauge on the left of the dash? I am a bit curious about that feature. Congrats on the car. I am working on acquiring two 65 1800ti's. I can't wait to be doing the same.
