UPDATE: ROUTE CHANGE
We're going to change the route due to construction on Stevens Canyon Rd where they've taken down parts of the road to gravel. Unfortunately, this means a full drive around the mountain is going to be difficult. We've decided to cut the drive short to a half way point at Cayuse Pass. If folks want to continue around the full route from Cayuse Pass, y'all can decide from there.
Here's the new, much shorter route/itinerary:
9:30am - meet-up at the Enumclaw Safeway 152 Roosevelt Ave E, Enumclaw, WA 98022
10:00am - Depart Safeway
11:30am - Drive to Sunrise Visitor Center - lunch, pictures, sight seeing
1:00pm - Drive Cayuse Pass - pictures, sight seeing
Return to Enumclaw - head home

Road trip time: It hasn't started raining yet, the tourist have left, and the kids are back at school. Let's get in our 02s for the annual end of summer scenic drive around Mt Rainier. Pack your lunch, gas up, and let's hit the road.
We will meet at the Safeway in Enumclaw at 9:30am and then leave at 10am to drive around the mountain... <ROUTE/INTERARY CHANGED>
