engine and drivetrain Just installed MSD 6AL... engine run-on

I installed my MSD 6AL per the instructions that came with it, I'm running tii dizzy, pertronix and MSD blaster2 coil... The engine keeps running!

Heavy red - Battery +

Heavy black - Ground -

Red - switched (the one that was previously on coil's +) and pertronix red

White - pertronix black

Orange - coil +

Black - coil -

The car starts with no problems, solid idle, good throttle response. But won't stop, I only see the red "L" indicator on the cluster when I turn the ignition key to the "off" position.

I tried this: while engine running I disconnected the switched source (the one connected to msd's red and pertronix red) and immediately died. And then I cranked it and, of course, it wouldn't start. I couldn't find anything similar on my dear friend SEARCH.

Please help!

If you read in the destructions. That is a problem with external regulated alternators. You have to solder in a diode on one of the alternator wire's. Sorry i didn't have the problem so i don't know which one. But is is in the book that came with the box. Good luck!
