  1. I installed poly bushings long after doing everything else in the suspension: Eibach springs, Bilstein Sports, 22/19 bars, 195/50-15 Pirellis, and TEP braces. IMHO, the poly bushings were nothing but a major improvement over the old rubber. Now, that's not to say that new rubber wouldn't have been, but I like the urethane. They are easy to install, don't squeek, and make the whole car nicer to drive. I've done long highway trips in the car and don't find it unpleasant at all. It is stiff, to be sure, but not tooth-jarring. The improved precision in the steering and suspension is well worth it.
  2. No personal experience, but it is well-regarded at BITOG. Based on everything I've read, it does not seem to do much for varnish, but will eat away sludge reliably and harmlessly. For further reading: http://theoildrop.server101.com/ubb/ultimatebb.php
  3. I get 25MPG consistently at 75-80MPH. Dual 40DCOEs, 300 Motorsport cam, 4 speed. No reason a reasonably stock 02 shouldn't be able to do this normally.
  4. The E12 528i m/c is a five-port unit that bolts up to the 2002 just fine. It will work properly with rear discs, as this is what the E12 528i had (no check valve). Also, it's cheaper than the tii unit last time I checked.
