  2. Good morning. I am looking for a pair of trailing arms. They can be from a 2002, or 2002 TII. Good to excellent condition. I intend to move the spring perch to better align shortened springs.
If someone has a pair and wants to move the perches for an extra price, even better.

    thanks,

    Dennis

  3. Can anyone take a picture of parts #6, #7, and #8? I purchased my car in boxes (69 2002), and trying to locate these three pieces. Installed, not installed, whatever.

    Thanks,

    Dennis

  4. Does the spring,  #3 on the diagram below, (part number 32311110814), and the ground cable on the universal joint on the steering column (yellow arrow on the third image) perform the same function? Guessing something to do with static electricity not being sent up to the steering wheel? Bought the universal joint/flanges used and it had the cable connected to both flanges, similar to the spring's connection.

I have a rusted spring, not sure how long it will last, and they are NLA. The cable seems a good solution if I am understanding the function correctly.

    Thanks,

    Dennis

  5. 69 2002, installing Bilstein B8 rear shocks. I have the OEM rubber bumpers and spacer as well the rubber bumpers included with the B8 shocks. Does it matter which rubber bumper I use? Installed the OEM bumper (PITA by the way) on one side before I realized the box the shock came in had the bumpers in the bottom in a plastic bag. Does it matter which bumper set I use?

  6. I have Panasports and 320i front calipers/vented rotors so need a small spacer (5-7mm). Under 10mm can't be hub centric I am reading due to the thinness.

"ONLY 12mm, 15mm and 20mm are hub-centric, it is physically impossible to have a hub-centric spacer for these cars less than 12mm thick given the chamfer on the face of the wheel hub." (Ireland Engineering)

Am I better off increasing the spacer to 12mm to allow for acceptable chamfer on the spacer, making it hub centric?

    Thanks,

    Dennis

I can't speak to RamFlo, but have you looked at ITG yet?

The one I run is just shy of 2" on my 38/38

Any concerns about filtering quality of these vs K&N? Not suggesting there is a problem with ITG, just wondering.

Also, who made the strut brace? Can't quite make it out.
