Dear Forum, I am afraid i was scammed out of $400 as a result of a wanted ad I placed on this site for a 3:64 Limited Slip Differential. User name @rayden PM'd me that his "buddy" "Martin" had it available, and to email him, which i did. When I emailed "Martin" he instructed me to venmo the $400 to a @Robert-Cochrun". I don't know why I didn't catch it right there and then, but in my enthusiasm went with it. The first thread below is the correspondence with @rayden. Ok, just learned that the cams will be stamped with 2 or 3 to denote which it was optioned with. Guess I’ll have to wait to get the head off to see!

Hello all, question regarding 2002ti camshafts: I know the standard 2002 had a 264 cam, but read that there may have also been a "sport" cam available from BMW for ti's, at 300. Does anyone know what cams the ti's indeed came with, and if there were different options? I won't have the head off my engine until some time in spring, and am just doing some preliminary research. Would love to hear your info and thoughts. Thank you!

Thanks all for the excellent info! I believe I have sourced a 235/5 which is the hard part. Next will be to locate a 3.64 differential, which hopefully isn't quite as hard. (or pricey!) I'll definitely add the car to the ti registry once it's in my physical possession which will be in the Spring.

I just saw the Ti brochure that is scanned on this forum and saw for the LSD: 3.64:1. Is this similar to what went into e21s? Any further insights greatly appreciated!

Hello Friends: I am very lucky to be coming into a 1970 2002Ti. (not Tii) Sadly, along the way it lost its LSD and Dogleg, both of which I would like to replace. Can anyone share what the original ratio would have been? (or model #) Also, any input on what the dogleg transmission type would have been as well?
