Got the Ireland billet door handle set to replace my old beat up ones. Photo for someone that never seen other than their website. Scratched up more than I would think is acceptable being new but for the price I guess you get what you get.

This past weekend...
Replaced broken valve spring I luckily caught before I torqued down my cylinder head. Broken because past owner used all thread for intake manifold bolts. Last time I freshened up intake gaskets, guess I turned one in too far and was hitting spring and eventually gave (explains that subtle tick) it developed and lunging off line. Throttle response is crisp as f*ck now!
New bolts and correct 11mm thin nuts installed that I got from Ireland.
You can see bolt wedged into spring
Final surprise was I forgot to put spring on blow through carb linkage and throttle got stuck near wide open and pooof went the oil filter gasket, blowing oil everywhere on car.
Also polished my valve cover somewhat because it seemed important.

Can't seem to find one that doesn't require me to buy a whole turbo kit.
Anyone have a source the care to share?
Mahalo in advance

I have had zero issues with my Bluetooth +

Yes, some old school Mercedes stainless ones.

Trying the Ireland MLS Cleveland one this time.

My W5DC arrived finally. Guess I'll gap at .030" and hope it's good because a bit of a PITA to change with turbo manifold in the way.
-
Just ordered 8 W5DC spark plugs.guess I'll clean these tired ones up one more time.
-
Heh, got it backwards
-
Since I'm running a turbo, would the colder W9DC plug be better?
-
As the title says. Using non resistor plugs
-
Old thread alert!
I have boxes of W9DC... do these work well? Current ones in engine are through.

They did away with emissions here a year or two ago
It was always stupid IMHO, but good they did. Being able to see the Alaska Range crystal clear from Delta Junction always told me the story. Only time I thought it may have been beneficial was in the Interior at -40° the stationary ice fog.
Couldn't count how many cars went to waste or were near impossible to sell in the winter from not passing emissions.

With a 10 gallon fuel cell and getting 5mpg, I'd be nothing but a wet blanket. "Uh guys, we gotta find a gas station reallllll soon!"

Heh, yeah, do it!
Endless summer gets old after a couple years, kinda like the short summer, long winter thing there along with 24 hours light and 24 darkness.
Plenty mosquitos here so you won't get homesick. And most importantly, no snakes just like back home.
No emissions test here, so you can do whatever you want to your engine and exhaust. Don't miss those seasonal waivers in Alaska at all for my racers.

Yeah, I was an Army brat in the 70's, living on Ft Wainwright.
Tried getting stationed back home via my dream list in 1989, but was sent opposite environment, such as Ft Bliss as worst example.

I’ve been happy with the few things I’ve ordered in the past. I just wish usps was a shipping option on the website for those of us in far off exotic lands like Alaska (according to fedex pricing).
You have to call them to get better price on shipping . Their automatic calculator quoted me $65 for a small bag of bolts to Hawaii once.
I too am from Alaska originally, and know it's a pain to get stuff there too. Born and raised in Fairbanks in 1971, moved to Anchorage in 1999 and left in 2007 to Hawaii.

Trying to keep it as high as possible. My fuel pump loves to push, but doesn't like to suck from the low original. Ditched the stock 8mm fuel lines for 3/8" so my 120gph fuel pump doesn't burn up, so stock fuel level sending unit is useless because of the size feed needed.
I like how that guy still utilized his original fuel sending unit into his new fuel cell.

My exhaust goes down the center.
-
What say you? Passenger side as the factory places it or center? Have a 10 gallon and cutting spare tire puka out and of course removing original fuel tank.
-
I ordered a couple times from them being a drivers door, and turbo body kit rubber gasket. Both times I had insane shipping charges here to Hawaii but had no choice so paid. Each time they refunded a large portion of the shipping cost without me even asking, and I thought that was very nice. Pretty quick too.

Forgot too when I was running sidedrafts, I bought the Ireland coolant re-route kit. The retaining bolt hole would not line up and rear of engine coolant hose, no matter how I tried to position it would rub on the brake lines across the firewall. If I cut it down, it would kink.
123 Ignition vacuum port
in BMW 2002 and other '02

I think I have an issue with my vacuum port on my Bluetooth Tune +, as it seems kinda loose. Was wondering if someone who has one could check theirs and see if their vacuum port is affixed solid or is there some kind of wiggle to theirs too.
At 3000rpm, it seems my distributor at boost loses its ability to sense said boost and valves starts chattering quite loudly.
Timing is tits and everything else triple checked exhaustively.
Also have a problem keeping connected to IPad. Fine until you rev, then it's connect, disconnected, connected, disconnected, connected......
All connections to coil solid and clean.
