Ed
Ed, for each pair is one angled and one straight? it's not too clear given the perspective.

You can contact Paul Spruell at paul AT paulspruell DOT com.
The length of the foam on the longer angled ones is 4" for 40mm barrels.
OH HERE HERE! wasn't expecting triples; thanks for the photo.

Socks. Screens cause turbulence and actually have quite a lot of air restriction and don't keep fine particles out. Spruell also sells a longer angled filter not listed on their web site which is what I have on mine. Maximize the sock surface area for max airflow and minimal filtering resistance.
good info, in lieu of a part number, do you have dimensions? how about a photo? can one order direct from UNI filter? I think the Spruell website states the angled UNI is made special for them.

My car is ALMOST done. I went to pick it up yesterday and unfortunately the stock alternator is not good enough. I do not plan on installing newer stereo or amps..etc so here is my first question Please pardon my nooobness I am new to this game!:
1) what is the best alternator for the job? any modifications needed? DIY?
As you can see for the pic below, No filter yet. The brake booster is soooo close to the horn which limits my options. Also, the oil dip stick it right there in the middle!
Here is what I found just looking around for filters:
Pod style
Ramflow it shows only for 48 dcoe though on top end website?
Screen pop-on style (pierce manifolds) Apparently its better than the screens that top end sells. Looks like it would block better:
So my second question is:
2) Which one do you recommend that gives me the best clearance and doesn't interfere with the oil dip stick?
Thanks.
Hamada
Hamada, very old post BUT sent you an IM Q. hope you're still on the board.
Q for your dual weber guys, socks or screens?

I propose that in future when referring to non tii 2002s that we use the production model code.
A conversation would go something like this; Q; "Anybody seen a seat belt for a 2225" A; "No, but I've got one for an ST12" .
See, that much more informative and inclusive and everyone knows what everyone else is talking about.
Info;
2225 Mod76 2002A USA spec manufactured 9/75-6/76 Chassis nos. 2390001-2393292
ST12 Mod71 2002 USA spec manufactued 4/71-8/73 Chassis nos. 2572070-2593704
err, f**k that............just keep it simple

great stuff
1st - classic "02" timing on hitting the emergency button quickly THEN finding the "standard": - the frwy place to park, sandwiched between the moving 80 MPH cars and the on ramp; nice
2nd - your girl is a perfect 02 passenger, shows enough concern to give the obligatory look over the shoulder, giving you some quick feedback and driver validation for your next move
3rd - just loved the unexpected appearance of the dog (who also shows concern by getting a quick look out the back - as if)) who is no doubt sitting on your GF's lap for the car ride
looks like the 210 at one of the Duarte (Pasadena) on ramp's, no? as for exhaust, IE is a bit buggy going in and once its in, and besides I wasn't a fan of the tone; my buddy runs an ansa, nice growl, but go custom if you can, DANCO posted his exhaust pieces some time ago on his first build and that tone was real nice.

You are the worst news reporter in history.

I shipped two seats (same model as yours) via greyhound to like Georgia and I believe it was around 75 bucks. I used a garment box, removed the headrests and nested the seats together (and later worked the headrest in somehow). made for a nice, tight package. it's been a some time though
-
that is correct, when the diffs were swapped, we used the exiting 75 cover on the LSD that went in - what you see is what you get. my apologies for any confusion.

for what it's worth, I think CLASSIFIEDS should be its own HEADER and not a subset of Forums; allows the use to have a more direct approach to classifieds.
