    Exhaust Tube Diameter Suggestions

    Ryan - Not sure if its ok to plug a shop here (let me know), but I just had my exhaust installed in Santa Ana at Ace Auto Care on Friday.  Its truly a piece of art.  All stainless.  2.25" with Magnaflow resonator and muffler joined to a Stahl header.  Jose and his welders are incredibly anal.  Built new mounts with inserts and customized the end pipe.  Has changed the car.  Running around 130hp at the wheels.  Great sound and no rattles, vibrations or what not that I had with my previous setup.  Not cheap, but it has made all the difference.   Happy to share photos if you like.

    Hey Stuart, sorry for you loss. I hope you can eek out some time and go for a nice reflective coast drive. It my not be the closest to SJ but some good, quiet reflection is all we need. god bless.

    Horn Relay

    So, some time ago I installed my super hella horns; they initially worked for a short time, then stopped.  All of the conencitons appeared to be and still the would not work. Over this past weekend I changed the relay (new bosch relay I commented on in another post) and they beep beeped WHILE sitting in my garage, ignition on, car not started. So, I start the car and take off happy as a clam, beep my horn once horn still working, beep a second time I can tell only one horn is firing, try to beep a third third time and blah nada nothing. Now no horn.  damn it, what's going on?  Is it a grounding wire issue? help............

    Anybody make it Bimmerfest?

    The usual pirates booty: key chain lanyards, car decals, water bottles, hats and t shirts when you "liked" on insta, chicks with outfits that were too small. Better food truck selections this year though lines were long.

    The vintage group owners / drivers are in a class of their own; that's where the good stuff was and the cool kids hang out: ice cold beer, igloos filled with food, tall tales and good conversation
