OK, thanks Jason. So the 57.1cb is smaller than what normally comes with the wheels then right ? otherwise would need an adapter you mentioned.
-
is the 57.1 cb required for 2002 & 1600's ?
-
Hey Man, nice set up. What type of suspension are you running ?
-
I'd be interested as well. But, I'd like them to be staggered. Would this be possible or is it only in 15x7 ?
1 more question, would it be free shipping to just to you or 1 location, or free shipping to each individual customers address ?
-
Im not from the I.E. but I have your car on my tee-shirt. Love the patina. She almost looks like mine.
What kinda suspension set up you have ?
-
Mike,
let us know what you come up with. I have the same issue, same car almost. I have an early 68 as well. Same style MC.
-
-
gold center, polished lip.
personally I don't like the satin black look on every wheel.
-
Is this the one in Irvine ?
-
where is it and which one is it ? there super car sundays, and a few more.
Ive never been to either one of them.
-
Just curious about options and such. That link was great, Fernando looks like he cut more than 2". Cost is always an issue, but might go with billies.
I have billies now, but for our car, thinking of going this route though.
-
Cool, I just watched this vid last night . Is this very similar to ours ?
Also, the MK1 struts don't have to be Brillstein's right ? I mean, would the same car (MK1) apply to KYB's, etc...
Looks like I found some other cars that would fit ours. Ford Mustang rears, and Rear Toyota Mr2 for our fronts ?
-
Anyone ever cut more than the 2" to shorten the strut ? Is there a danger ?
was thinking maybe about a 3" cut.
Also, I looked around using the search function, is there an actual write up with photos ?
-
Thanks for the positive comments. He's an E30 guy, but thought mine would look a little cooler since it is older then his E30.

Received the item as described, in perfect condition. Ordered Monday and paid Monday via Paypal, got the tracking # same day, received item Wednesday. Would and will buy from the seller again.
Stand up guy no problems, no issues.
Thanks Bryce.

was there any estimate on price for this ?
I want one either way. Maybe 2 if the price is right.
-
Fred,
Many thanks for your input.
I knew there was no $1500.00 or $2500 answer. I've never rebuilt a full on motor myself. Seems too far fetched in my mind because of the lack of 2002 knowledge. This board is a huge help and has been, but I feel like the torque specs, tolerances etc would prove to be too much and I'd f%$@k up a newly rebuilt motor.
-
How much does a non race stock engine cost to rebuild ? I have a engine thats tired, nothing is wrong as far as warped heads, or anything.
sorry to thread jack.
-
Sorry I think I liked your story so much I forgot it was a survey. $500 for a roller...
-
Tell him you'll trade him the car for some hash, and a baggy of shrooms. He'll jump all over it
-
VERY NICE !!!!!
-
I think its NLA for the small one I need, I just checked with blunt.
My buddy welds, so WCS i'll have him fab up a new neck on it.
-
The thread part is bigger than the neck.
I have it out now. Thanks for the link, there is a HF by my pad, I probably go pick it up today.

Count me in then...
7. Jason Yamasaki 15x7 et 25 fronts & 15x8 et 20 for the rear : polished lip gold face, or 2nd option polished lip silver face.
I think this size / offset should work for the rears as long as I roll & pull the rear fenders a little.
