That's some serious weight loss and their quality is out of this world!
I've forgotten what's your plan for engine etc. but this is gonna be something pretty awesome ?
Just finalized the engine plans as was debating on going with a stroked M10 with EFI, but after looking at costs for everything it wasn't much more to go S14, so recently bought a S14 with bad crank bearings and doing a rebuilt of that with some upgrades.

What kind of chassis mods are you having Matt do?
He’s doing the stitch weld and weld in roll bar along with some other modifications for additional clearance in the engine bay and some modifications to the pedal box area. I’ll be posting a full update once it’s completed. -
Nice work! I wish I could do my own like that.

Thanks! Its been a built I have been planning for about 10 years (although there have been some big changes in the direction due to different parts availability) so its nice to finally move forward with a build.

That is class A work. And fast! Usually these are in the back corner waiting for time between collision repairs of newer vehicles.
Bart is an artist when it comes to the metal work. Nice thing about sending the vehicle to him is that he just does restorations and isn't a collision place.
My goal is to get the entire chassis completed (body, subframes, brakes, suspension, wheels & tires) within one year, and then year two complete the interior and drivetrain.

Nice! I would be both excited and terrified to see what my car looks like after that. Excited to follow along with your journey!
It’s definitely been a little bit of a stressful experience. Found more issues then expected but I guess it’s better to take care of those now then having to worry about them later lol.- 1

Lucky: it was originally a Colorado (orange) example! Great and well-loved color. Agreed: the rust is not too bad!

Fingers crossed that it doesn’t come back from dipping with any major surprises. I know there is quite a bit of body work on the rear quarter panels so I’m hoping its not covering up any thing too bad. The good news is I’m planning on Alpina style flares so some will be cut away anyway.- 1

the frame roller is from Summit Racing. Bart ended up modifying a little though.
