I used the clips that others have used also. Gorilla glue worked fine. Just buy some patience. And when your done with all the little clips you can use them for your doors if you ever decide to redo them. Ardvarc wood panels + clips + gorilla glue. Good luck

Actually my secret is that I had a proffesional due the paint. Thats the only thing I didn't dare to do, and I'm glad I did it that way. The rest I'm doing myself. As far as the trim delete, it had to be done. That stuff trapped to much crap to bring rust. Most of the chrome trim that I am keeping, I'm painting with black spray can "trim" paint. Hopefully it holds up. The wheels are gonna be Rota RB 15". Can't wait to put those on.

Bought it back in March and this is about where I am right now. The engine was pretty whole just needed to be cleaned up and a few other things (carb, starter, belt, alternator) but all in all runs strong. the body just had mostly surface rust. I only had to replace one fender. Brakes had to go as they were rusted away ( and almost locked up) and made the nastiest smell on the way home from the sellers house. New wheels and a new interior are next.... what offset and bore? and do they require 14mm bolts or will 12mm work? Rota claims they only make 14mm but I imagine the nuts will hold them in. Thx. I had them done with a 25mm offset and DO NOT require a 14mm bolt. The center bore is 57.1mm. Cris If I can return these then I will definitely give you a call. Dammit I knew something like this would happen. I just can't believe Rota would make the same wheel with both 14 and 12mm holes. this sucks.....

Great thanks, but the problem is the wheels are on the way and I didn't see Cris's ad earlier. I just want to make sure i'm not screwed when the wheels arrive. I want to make sure I have the proper wheels..15x7 et25 4x100. my only question was about the 14mm holes.....thats what worries me. Thanks again.

Thanks. Just got nervous because the dealer and Rota both told me that these wheels require 14mm bolts...but if these are the same wheels that everybody seems to be using then, good.

Anybody here have these and did they just bolt on with the 57.1 hub size or did you have to change the bolt (if possible) to a 14mm as suggested by rota?

I under fully understand this. What I am wondering is about the gasket I have. It seems to be the same size as the 38 gasket I am told I need to trace for the hole . It measures 1.75"X3.5" at the inside of the oval.Thx

I'm pulling of my 32/36 to replace it with the 38. The 38 is in the mail and I would like to have the intake ready to go when it gets here. I have the standard carb to intake oval gasket off my recently rebuilt 32/36 in hand. looking online they both seem to be the same size gaskets. My gasket is quite bigger than the 2 hole there now. So question is, is this the size I need to trace and bore out?????? Thx

Too funny.... I just got off the phone with Ireland and felt the same way after not only spending another grand, but then I was told the parts would go out Monday and take a week to get here....I guess I have to wait another week to play in the garage.... -
I sent you an email with mine. Thx ps. I heard the story from jim about your wheels. I told him not to show them to me in case I liked them. From the looks of it there will probably be at least three of us in central Fl with them.

who did your doors and dash/console? I was looking for something similar... And I agree Jim is a great guy. I've only known him for a few weeks and he seems like a really honest person..
