  1. you're welcome to use any of the photos I took last year http://picasaweb.google.com/jskar35/091024SocalVintageBmwShow# mostly just walking around photos, so nothing spectacular thought this one was kind of interesting - fun to see so many '02s lined up http://picasaweb.google.com/jskar35/091024SocalVintageBmwShow#5396724573791612914 cheers
  2. i've got some photos from that day- http://picasaweb.google.com/jskar35/091024SocalVintageBmwShow# cheers
  3. go to www.bmw-grouparchives.com click on contact and send them a request with your vin number i did this a few years ago and received a very courteous reply from a gentleman named andreas harz telling me my 1972 verona was made on 6/9/72 and shipped to hoffman motors in new york. when i enter my vin number (2583446) on maximillian, it tells me that i've got an e30 318i. go figure...
  4. just signed up! its a great event - really enjoyed last year's show (my car wasn't running for that one) cheers
  5. a two part question and offering: First - can anybody recommend a good upholstery shop to repair the typical torn seat on a stock seat for a 1972 '02? I've got a marine blue interior with the basket weave vinyl. A couple years ago, i bought a used marine blue rear seat cover to get some stock material for the repair. Any good shops in the los angeles area that anybody has used? and any idea of what it would cost to just swap out the seat vinyl? Secondly - anybody need the leftover material once i've done my repair? cheers
  6. thanks - very kind. your photos are great as well and your touring is gorgeous! looking forward to the next event - hopefully my ride will be back on the road by then cheers
  7. put some of my photos from this morning here: http://picasaweb.google.com/jskphoto/081011Vintagebmwshow# didn't bring my '02 either - too much white smoke right now!
  8. those look like a set from GTS Classics (classiccarseats.com) - i was considering a set myself a while back, but decided to stick with the basket weaves
  9. i've taken my 02 to summit automotive on washington blvd a couple times. dave barr knows 02s very well and you'll see some very nice vintage bmws, lotus, and alfas at his shop
  10. were in the background of the shot of the two espadas and then to the side of the shot of the miura. it was a good show and we didn't stick around more than an hour, so I think we missed alot of nice cars that showed up later. Do you ever go to Supercar Sundays? I've only ever seen one other '02 there.
  11. great photos and it was a great show. My friends and I are actually in the background of a couple of your shots!

  13. I've been thinking about replacing the stock front seats in my 1972 '02 for a little while now. I came across this website on an alfa forum and was wondering if anybody has any experience with them. I liked the look of this seat and the fact that it comes with basket weave. heres the link for the seats I'm considering: http://www.classiccarseats.com/monte-carlo-seats-5602.php thanks in advance
  14. that was probably me! I've been driving and fixing up a 1972 Verona 02 for a little over a year now. you wouldn't happen to be the owner of the white 02 I see parked off Barrington now and then?
