    Trying to find a way to protect the hole where the license plate light wires exit the car on the back panel. There's no grommet on mine and I'm told it's a potential water entry point. Anyone have an extra grommet or a home remedy for that?

    Anyone know of a suitable replacement for the antenna with the rectangular base that slopes and tapers into a curve at the bottom end? It's not a Bosch and may not be a Hirschmann either.

    Little Garage is indeed good, but the shop split in two, one in Long Island City, the other in Huntington. You want the latter, run by Matthew Meng, a salt of the earth guy who's been working on 02s since the Hoffman era. 631-673-1700. Probably about the same distance from the city as the guy upstate.

    Thanks--will you be at Palo Alto? I'd like to see the key fob and documentation. ps turns out there's an Acura dealer there now with the same phone number and they confirmed that it used to be a BMW dealer. I've emailed the smogsite guy and will see what he knows.
