  3. I was going to use them for a resto-modified 1978 MKI Golf/Rabbit.I got lucky and found a guy at the Wolfsburg Classic parts wharehouse and bought a NOS dashboard for $250 usd.Seems in the BMW world, as expected its a bit different. Another good solution. Thanks jgmgti

  6. I have a traditional crack /split in a 72 tii dash,one only.Eastwood products offers a kit with color match,graining paper,and a "micro-disc" iron.At 24.95 it may be a solution?Has anybody tried this kit or one like it.I am skeptical.......... jgm

  8. Napes, thanks,185/70/13 seems to be the answer...I'm coming most recently from the modified MKI GTI world where the hot set up would be strangly 175/50/13 or 205/60/13 for auto x....This 2002 tii is to be my stocker grandpa-style occaisional driver jgmgi

  10. I'm getting a set of BBS RA 179 13x6 ET13 for my upcoming 72 tii. On a stock suspension w/Bilsteins,what size and brand do you folks recomend.My intended purpose is just light street driving for now.slowing down on the modified/autocrosser trackday thing for this season. Thanks jgmgti

  18. Looking forward to entering the world of 2002s.I recently totaled my 1978 Resto-Modified British Racing Green Golf GTI.She was magazine featured a couple of times. Very quick light and a blast to drive,I will miss the VW world.Found a 72 Inka Orange 72 Tii, that is in fantastic shape very very clean and well sorted.Pending inspection etc. the car will be with a new owner in the next few weeks.I live in the Washington D.C. area and would like to find a good independent shop and other enthusiasts to help me get up to speed with the new car. jgm02
