  2. This car actually has most service records back to its original sale.It was bought from Peter Pan Motors in San Francisco May 1972.Reading the last 3 decades of repairs makes for some bizzare reading... jgmgti

  4. Thanks,I thought about cosmics,in 79-80 when I had my last 02 I ran those.I may change to coupe wheels....right now my main concern is shaking the car down and getting the paint buffed properly...to see what I have... jgmgti

Thanks again....she's now fairly clean...guages fixed,locks and door aligned,steering wheel installed,CoCo matts,H-4s installed,rubber treated w/ Wuth rubber treatment and just generally freshened.Plan onn getting the paint professionally buffed to bring back some of the faded areas blah blah blah.   11. Esty, I really like the steelies w/ the roundel caps as well,but the bbs please me as too(nos 13x6 R197s 13mm offset)... Basic Details: 153K fresh 10k motor,8k 4-speed trans w/ 3.90 lsd, bilsteins,very good interior carpet and trim,very solid body and undercarrige.Mostly original paint w/ some touch up.She runs strong,cruises at 85mph+.Handles well. Here in D.C. its about 20 degrees and as a Cali car surely its a shock. Plan on a pro-detail to bring out the old paint and just keep it maintained.garaged,w/ slight improvements for the next year or so.Old man style. jgmgti

  14. Thanks,I lubed the lock and outer mechanism w/ some spray graphite.The key locks and unlocks the lock itself well.When I try to get the lock to work with the door shut,no go.Just guessing, the door and or lock mechanism is out of alignment? jgmgti
  15. The ignition key works great as well as the passeger side.The driver side is a hit or miss.A miss 9.5 out of ten.Any advice on fixing this little issue would be greatly appreciated jgmgti
