Bob helped me out as a noob when I first got my 02. Great guy, big heart. My condolences to you and your family, his FAQ family will miss him as well. RIP Napes

Thanks dar_on_!!! It works great!

Sure, it's a two person job, but why not do it yourself and invent some pretty awful swear words or nasty combinations of swear words, like I did?
I used a spray-on wax detailer to lube the channel for the turbo black lock strip I installed. Easy as pie. I made my own install tool, welded a wire key holder to a screwdriver after bending it into the shape of the tool in CD's post above...worked like a charm.

Oops, just saw they're sold..

Yes! That's the one! Would sell that part to me? If so, how much? I'm in SoCal. Thanks!

My odometer stopped working. Took it apart and the tiny brass odometer gear shaft housing has an oblong hole that crammed the tiny brass gear into the odometer long gear. If you have a speedo or the odometer gear shaft with bracket, (the thing with the green spot of paint on it in the pics below) please let me know. Thanks!

I'll pass. Thanks.

Would you take $25/shipped to SoCal?

How much for the drive shaft? I'm in SoCal, can pick it up... Thanks

^^^^ Pure Awesomeness!!!!
15" x ?? BBS? Looks fantastic!

Glad your swap worked out for you so nicely.
What fuel pump and regulator are you using? Also, just some advice regarding your Uni filters, keep them clean with fresh oil, they'll reduce air flow (mine cut down 30%) possibly giving you odd symptoms. Would like to know your MPG after you get them dialed in compared to your old setup. Have fun!

It turned out so awesome! I hope to see this up close one day
Thanks Brian, the flares were definitely a challenge, but well worth the drive to Kettleman City! Are you back in the 2002 game? I really miss your silver masterpiece.

Nice save in turn 11 during session 2!! Looks so fun and scary too, would love to take mine out there someday...

I must say, I respect a builder that can express their artistic ideas through their own canvas. I may not agree with a few of the style characteristics expressed on this 2002, but I respect them as this builder's vision. Overall, I like this one!
