  1. This one eliminates most of the unrelated bits. 2. That is great info, thanks for the link too. I will ask the seller what the weights are, but if he doesn't know, is there a way to test/measure them? I assume that they would have to be removed for this of course. Aaron
  3. I am looking at a car that supposedly has Carrera springs. Any one have any experience with these? The car doesn't seem to sit lower than stock, in fact my 74tii with H&R's is definitely lower. Did drive the car and they seem very similar to my H&R's. Both cars have Bilsteins and larger sway bars. I searched the archives and can't seem to find anything. Thanks for any input. Aaron
  4. Depending on where in Atlanta you live or work, there are a few good choices for mechanics. RWL on Edgewood (just east of Boulevard) is definitely a good choice if you are downtown or even towards Decatur. If you are a bit farther north like Midtown, Buckhead, Vinings, I would recommend Buckhead Imports on Irby just after Roswell Rd splits from Peachtree. Henri's Bakery is on same road. Lloyd has been working on 2002's since they were new. Jason is the owner and I have been using them for sometime now and always happy. If you are even farther north, like Alpharetta, I would get in touch with David at Harrison Motorsports on Hembree Drive. David is very active in the BMW CCA Peachtree chapter and likes the older cars. I do not know of any specific body shops but would refer to the recommendations of these guys.
