This is going to sound retarded, but i cannot for the life of me find the size/model number/ just about anything about the stock solex car in my '76. it seems like everyone swapped out and im the only guy left running stock.

anyone have info on the stock carb, or can point me in the right direction. im trying to get a decent tuning guide for it.

thank you.

Its supposed to catch fire, right?

As already noted, why not do what dealer technicians did: refer to the factory manual. Haynes. Clymer and Autobooks also cover the subject. If you are considering modifications to the carb, you are mostly on your own, but carbs all work on the same laws of physics.

Pat Allen who posts frequently continues to use that same carb.

BTW, you can find basic setup information for your 32/32 DIDTA in manuals for various Opels, Audis and even VW's.
